CbTrex.com: is a fake broker with a license from the fake regulator

CbTrex may surprise you with its visuals but don’t rush to be fooled by a beautiful picture. We have found a lot of red flags and decided to highlight some of them for you. Some will seem obvious to you; others may surprise you. By the way, it’s quite symbolic, since one of the broker’s main colours is red. Be vigilant and carefully study what indicates that CbTrex is a scam.

  • Broker name: CbTrex, Cb Trex
  • Address: 4 Bartholomew lane, London, EC2N 2AX
  • Website: https://cbtrex.com/
  • Regulation: Not regulated by any legitimate company
  • Customer support: https://cbtrex.com/
  • Language: English
  • Phone number: +1-404-172-8901

First red flag: Lies about its functioning year

CbTrex was launched in the spring of 2024, that is, it is a newcomer in the field of trading since information about the team, its experience, etc. is not indicated anywhere on the website. Therefore, it is quite bold to declare its services as proven opportunities for international investment. However, this is quite logical if an applicant like CbTrex is a scammer.

If you believe the information indicated by the broker’s regulator, then CbTrex was first licensed back in 2016. However, it is fake there, but more on that later. We considered various options in which this information could be true, but in the case of re-branding, such details are always indicated publicly so that clients can be convinced of the reliability of the trading platform. Carrying out such a process quietly directly contradicts the main goal of such a step – not to lose old customers and attract new ones.

Second red flag: Fake regulation

It’s time to talk about this license and the regulator itself.

Image

The license number is marked in the footer; when you hover over it, you can go to another site and view the certificate in more detail. Of course, that’s what we did.

According to the information on the regulator’s website, they first certified this broker in 2016, but we have already discovered that it first appeared only in 2024. It means that this regulator is not real, but the same scammer who collusion with similar brokerage platforms. If you see someone with a similar license, know it is a scam. Moreover, there is no information about its other members on the regulator’s website, which is also a red flag.

Third red flag: Not a single positive trace online

Everyone needs advertising, and even buying it from reputable platforms is a good tactic. Top sites will not risk their reputation and will ask for all possible evidence of the legality of the business. And in this aspect, CbTrex.com clearly loses, since the online reputation is extremely negative.

Articles/Videos

Numerous articles and videos online highlight the issues and negative experiences associated with CbTrex.com. Many of these sources detail various complaints, including poor customer service, unfulfilled promises, and suspicious activities. These media pieces often come from credible reviewers and industry experts, further underscoring the concerns surrounding this platform.

Clients’ reviews

Client reviews of CbTrex.com are overwhelmingly negative. Users frequently report problems such as difficulty withdrawing funds, lack of transparency, and unresponsive customer support. These reviews are found across multiple platforms, including forums, review sites, and social media, painting a consistent picture of dissatisfaction and distrust among users.

Fourth red flag: Paid reviews on TrustPilot

There are about 39 negative reviews about CbTrex on TrustPilot, but this is not what surprised us most, but the fact that these scammers managed to deceive the strict system of the site and post fake reviews through invitations from a business account. However, we have already found out that this is a new broker, and there could not be any clients in 2023, as indicated. Such simple lies are evidence that are actually not so easy to notice unless you specifically look for them.

Fifth red flag: Obvious similarities with CrystalMarket

Image

When we first started our investigation, we immediately discovered that CbTrex and CrystalMarket are two completely identical sites. At the moment, CrystalMarket is no longer available due to thousands of complaints and bad reviews. However, when we began to dig deeper, we found dozens more of these fraudulent sites with the same visuals and text.

Here is a list of some of them:

  • taycaninvest.group;

  • instanttradingeu.ltd;

  • fintexpro.co;

  • flowtrade24.com.

Final conclusion on the CbTrex.com scam

CbTrex is just a small cog in a vast fraudulent scheme. These types of sites are created every couple of months to scam as many people as possible. This is a fresh scam, and the site will operate for a few more months, and then an identical site will be created only under a different name.

If you have dealt with this broker or you have recognized the visuals of the site, be sure to share your experience and thoughts in the comments.

I was a customer of fintexpro.co, they are scammers and this site looks exactly the same, word for word. Run away from them and all similar sites!!!

I was pressured into investing more money with the promise of higher returns. Now, my account is empty, and they won’t respond to me

their so-called ‘trading experts’ are just con artists. They gave me terrible advice that led to massive losses.
